The second installment of the Super Barrels tournament is officially PDGA approved and sanctioned.  This Super Class event will take place November 8, 2009 at the Backwoods Disc Golf course in Chester, Arkansas.

The second installment of the Super Barrels tournament is officially PDGA approved and sanctioned.  This Super Class event took place November 8, 2009 at the Backwwods Disc Golf course in Chester, Arkansas.  The Backwoods course is a private property, object golf course in Chester, Arkansas (halfway between Ft. Smith and Fayetteville.  This event was scheduled the day after the PDGA C-tier event in Greenwood Arkansas, and makes it possible for out-of-town players to make a weekend of golf in the area (Greenwood is 45 minutes south of Chester).

The event cost $20 for Ams and $25 for pros.  All Am players will get a players pack that will contain a Super Class disc.  For pro players discs will be available for puchase at $6 per disc.  All players will recieve a free lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers.  The event will include two rounds of 18 holes, as well as CTP and ring of fire events. 

Camping is allowed on the property, and there are local cabins and a bed and breakfast that give DISCounts to disc golfers.  IF you need any more information, or want to register for the event, please contact the tournament director Willie Williams @ 479-670-2641.
